The standard solution for the monitoring and control of the grinding process are GAP/Crash/Dress sensors at the headstock and/or the dressing unit.

Contact-less working GAP/Crash/Dress systems can be installed directly at the spindle shaft. Here the measuring signal is transmitted in a contact-less way from the rotor to the stator. This solution has a very high resolution and is well protected against disturbances.

Also sensors of other suppliers can be used for special applications.
