E-Motors:

The vibration sensor resp. sensors should be installed as close as possible to the balancing planes, in the area of the bearing, either in radial or horizontal position.

The speed can be measured by the speed sensor (optical is recommended) in axial or radial way.

We recommend to put a vibration damping mat (e.g. rubber or foam) underneath rather small motors which should be balanced on the table.

Pulleys:

If the pulley shall remain at the motor, please see “E-motors”. If the pulley is supplied resp. mounted as a single part, at first a precise balancing of the basic holder (e.g. the e-motor) is necessary.

The best and economical way to balance pulleys as single parts (serial parts) is to use a vertical balancing machine, e.g. BMT200S or BMT220.VFG.S100.

For the above applications the mobile balancing resp. balancing at operating speed is recommended.

Here all inaccuracies are considered.
E.g.: clearance of the holder, rest of spindle unbalance, grooves etc..

Ventilatoren Ventilatoren

Fans:

If the fan has a cantilever support, 1-plane balancing is mostly sufficient. If the fan has a support on both sides it can be balanced in 2-plane too.

The sensor resp. sensors should be always mounted radial in horizontal position at the bearing near the fan.

The speed can be measured by the speed sensor in axial or radial way.
